Well, skipped the main WOD today - did muscle-up practice instead. After not being able to do muscle-ups for yesterday's WOD, I decided I was going to get this done. I read some more instructions on how to do the transition, the false grip, etc. Tried it a few times with knees on the ground. Thought to myself,
"I can do this." So raised the rings and on my second attempt joined the muscle-up club! Very exciting. Had to kip a little but I'll take it. Tried again afterwards but don't think I did an adequate warmup so felt some strain in my left bicep and in the right shoulder area. Dumb. Called it a night. Will keep practicing to ensure it wasn't a fluke...
